Essential Job Functions of Sales Account Manager: - Establish strong relationships with customers and third-party partners by way of on a regular, consistent communication; prospecting new opportunities, and training their employees on how to productively sell all Holstein Parts aftermarket products. - Work in the field alongside manufacturer’s rep agencies and coordinate sales efforts within assigned territory. Ensure customers are fully stocked with products, catalogs, and marketing materials. with rep agencies. Attend trade shows, customers marketing events and open house events. - Know and understand the competition: their policies, pricing structure, distribution, strengths, and weaknesses. Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly. - Assist in developing sales and training brochures and catalogs, help identify new products for development. Aid in the creation of annual sales plans. - 50% of the time on the road requiring overnight travel within the United States and Canada. Some trips may extend a full week or longer. - Primary success measurements will be based on maintaining high customer satisfaction rate, high customer retention rate, generation of customer testimonials and referrals, and growing sales in the region assigned.
Skills/ Experience needed for Sales Account Manager: - Previous sales experience in light duty vehicle parts distribution necessary for success in the role - A mechanical background with light duty vehicles is a big plus - Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related field - Strong technical expertise with MS Office, Excel and Salesforce (or other CRM) is necessary; experience with remote training platforms required, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Must be able to create exceptional PowerPoint presentations for use in training and a comfortable sharing screen. - Excellent professional solution selling, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate persuasively both orally and in writing are required. - Must have a valid driver’s license and US Passport (or able to get one)
