Actively sell, promote and grow the market share on all Melling Engine Parts product lines profitably through retail channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide timely, accurate and complete information/responses between the retail customer and other internal departments.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with Retail accounts
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration
• Manage retailer manufacturer’s sales rep
• Manage and modify forecasting
• Advise clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
• Complete quotations, sales contracts/vendor agreements and line reviews
• Responsible for maintaining retailer price files and implementing changes
• Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of own company's production and delivery schedules
• Communicates with customers (written, verbal and/or e-mail) to keep retail customers apprised of new products, applications and technology
• Coordinates liaison between sales department and other internal departments.
• Assist in managing accounts receivable
• Prepares sales reports showing volume and potential sales
• Tracks stock levels at retail accounts
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries, returns, receivables, quality issues,
• Travel - Customer meetings and trade shows
• Management of marketing staff
• Knowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices. Strives for continuous improvement in their area of expertise and job function that results in better cost, quality, or functionality of the products we deliver to our customers
• Promote good employee relations and high morale
• Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
• Must be able to work in a teamwork environment and have the ability to communicate with any and all departments at Melling (mfg, distribution, etc.)
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager

• Frequently carry up to 50 Assistance is required when lifting over 50 pounds
