The National Sales Manager is a role whose responsibilities include: sales calls, trade shows, promotional material development and key sales metrics reporting. As a primary contact for an external sales rep force for Canada and the USA, your responsibilities include:
Contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with the customer to ensure all inquiries and issues are dealt with in an efficient manner
Perform competitive market analysis in areas such as pricing, warranties, and product cross referencing
Providing support for marketing materials and promotions development
Develop product expertise across all products and features
Provide value-added program monitoring, reporting, and metrics
Contribute to the effective sales management by attending client conference calls, providing annual line reviews, and participating in trade shows
Provide support for marketing materials and promotions development
Assist in proposal and quote preparation
Post-secondary education in a business, sales or marketing program
3-5 years of progressive sales/account management experience at a national level
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledgeable with CRM tools, web-based presentation tools and Microsoft Office applications
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must
Familiarity with ACES and PIES formats, customer load sheet preparation
Strong attention to detail, highly organized
Automotive electronics experience preferred
Ability to present product benefits in a clear and enthusiastic manner
Strong project and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Ability to think outside the box to creatively trouble shoot, identify and resolve customers issues in a timely manner
A valid driver’s license is required
This position requires travel up to 50% within Canada and the USA
