Prestone® Command was launched in 2013 to extend our innovation into the heavy-duty segment of the market. We are looking to add to our growing aftermarket team in the southwest to grow our light-duty and heavy-duty business. The southwest territory consists of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Colorado. The Regional Account Manager reports to the National Account Manager. You are responsible for managing the existing book of business with a strong focus on growth on our heavy-duty line.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain strong strategic and tactical relationships with existing Prestone® customers.
Drive incremental sales via new and existing customers in your assigned territory.
Responsible for full sales cycle execution, including opportunity prioritization, accurate forecasting, and qualification of future sales opportunities.
This role will include extensive prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity generation.
Complete all administrative aspects of the role including extensive work in Excel.
Present the Prestone® brand and value add at trade and customer shows and events.
Train customers and mechanics on the use and benefits of Prestone® products
Provide competitive intelligence through fieldwork.
Other initiatives as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Previous sales experience within the Automotive Heavy Duty Aftermarket; bonus in automotive chemicals.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work well independently.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to structure sales deals, collaborate with team members, & reach pivotal steps in the sales cycle.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining meaningful customer partnerships.
A Self-starter with the ability to work remotely.
Effective planning/organizational skills.
Valid driver's license.
Travel required up to 75% of the time including customer visits, plant visits, and time in the office with other team members
Ideally based in the Dallas Fort Worth area

This position has a base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 plus an annual incentive bonus or commission target. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
