S&B has an opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer, and we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys working on projects from cradle to grave. We do not micromanage our engineers, but we have high expectations and expect someone to be self-motivated and love their job. In the last two years alone, we have launched two new product segments (diesel fuel tanks and silicone body mounts) and have more in process. Our goal is to continue to come up with innovative products that exceed our customer's expectations.

Responsibilities:
Develop products that extend our current product mix. Engineer products from cradle to grave.
Come up with new product segments and products.
BS Degree in Engineering
Coursework in mechanical design, engineering statics, fluid mechanics, material science
Knowledge of automotive technology
Proficient with SolidWorks, including surface and multi-body modeling techniques
Understanding of a wide variety of plastic and metal manufacturing methods
