We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead, support, and develop our Automotive Refinishing business unit. As a key contributor to our leadership team and our organization, you will lead the department’s development and deployment plan to achieve revenue, gross margin, and income objectives. What You Will Do
Manage direct reports in a manner to achieve maximum performance by the business unit team members. This includes motivation, development and training, and performance reviews
Partner with R&D and marketing to integrate market development strategies to support new product development
Foster relationships with our National Account customers and knowledgeable with 2-step distribution
Establish and manage the department’s financial budget
Provide reports and communicate to management status of performance metrics on an on-going basis
Provide leadership to the business unit and other areas of the company consistent with GFS corporate values
Continually seek improved methods to improve customer service to market level. Monitor price competitiveness within the market
Coach the team to harness relationships with our top customers, influencers, and decision-makers and develop those relationships to become a trusted advisor
Performs other duties as assigned
What You Have to Offer
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
7+ years of leadership experience leading sales in capital equipment or related
Demonstrated track record of effective strategy and plan development/deployment that results in the achievement of revenue objectives; plans related to sales strategies, channel management, budgeting, and gross margin management
Ability to provide leadership to the department and other areas of the company consistent with GFS corporate values
Experience in direct and distribution-based sales channel management
Experience in national account sales and direct customer sales management
