To aggressively promote and sell assigned tools & equipment product lines to, or in conjunction with the D.C., the stores, and the customers they serve. Work to increase sales and market share within your territory via direct end user selling, product demonstration, tool shows and other sales events. Keep your Regional Manager informed of all aspects of your job including training, submission of required reports/itinerary, inventory inspection, merchandising, and sales/profitability clinics.
Education & Experience:
BA Degree or Automotive Technical Degree preferred. ASE A6 and/or A8 helpful but not required at hire date. At least 2 years of experience in Automotive Parts or Automotive Technical field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required. PowerPoint skills are helpful.
Provide professional sales leadership to the Sales Departments (D.C., District) and all Auto Parts store personnel.
Serve as a role model for the Company and the Tools & Equipment Group at all times.
Possess personal drive and self-motivation to accomplish Company's sales goals.
Possess analytical problem-solving skills.
Provide innovative solutions to opportunities and problems.
Possess high character and always deal fairly with customers.
Must have the ability to lift packages of warehouse size and weight. (25-30 lbs.)
Must have the ability to perform on vehicle product demonstrations.
Must have the ability to travel 25 to 50% of the time. Overnight travel is a necessity.
