We need a talented individual to fill the role of International Sales Manager at our Barberton facility with the skills, knowledge and ability to grow our international sales. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of international sales experience managing key accounts, with demonstrated success building and supporting customer relationships.
Responsible for creating and managing an international distribution network for our Presta and Malco brands of automotive finishing products. They will also manage our line of automotive additives, which includes brand names such as Whiz, PPI, Quaker City and Stop. We are looking for someone who can clearly demonstrate a successful track record in:
Developing and implementing long-term sales strategies and goals
Identifying and assessing new distribution partners
Manageing relationships with new and current distributors, balancing customer demands with manufacturer objectives
Training, supporting and motivating distributors to achieve sales targets and creating distributor accountability for meeting goals
Identifying new business opportunities and gaining penetration into new markets
Managing customer problem-solving and follow-up, with distributors and internally within our organization; to ensure prompt response
Creating and implementing pricing policies
Manage the International Customer Service Representative and the Latin American Technical Sales Representative
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Chemistry.
At least 5 years of international sales experience managing key accounts.
Demonstrated success building and supporting customer relationships.
Distributor or representative network management, preferably with non-employee representatives.
Internal sales and service personnel management.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow-up is critical. Ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in related technical and / or industrial fields preferred, including paint and automotive finishes, chemicals industry or coatings industry.
Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 30%; includes international travel.
