Relationship building and sales follow up are key skills to succeed in this position.
Strong selling and teaching skills are required to train distributors and teach their service installers how to sell premium LIQUI MOLY motor oils and additives. Prior lubricant/additive selling experience is a plus. Marketing and promotions experience are also a plus.
The candidate to fill this position will need to reside in the Washington DC- Baltimore market place. The territory assignment covers Baltimore south into northern Virginia and surrounding markets. Candidates must be self-sufficient and self-motivated to sell all market channels that LIQUI MOLY USA serves. This position is a home office based assignment.
Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years progressive selling success in field sales management. (Preferably in lubricant and additives distribution and/or the automotive aftermarket). College degree or appropriate employment history desired.
Selling: Individual must be prepared to make daily service shop calls on service techs and managers educating them on LIQUI MOLY products on how to sell them.
Professionalism: Candidate must have strong customer engagement skills to sell and service professionally at all levels in the customer distribution chain.
Customer Relations: Strong customer service mind set with solid customer follow up skills.
Organized: Familiar with the use of sales management CRM tools. Efficient territory time management, solid organizational skills, conscious punctuality.
Communicator: Excellent communication skills: phone, email, verbal
Training: Effectively conduct product training presentations with confidence.
Accountability: Able to work independently and also be a strong team player when needed.
Integrity: Professional, honest, and personal traits that inspires trust with customers and fellow employees
Computer Skills: Proficient in basic MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Travel : Willingness to travel including overnight trips and occasional weekends.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
