Summary: An outside sales position responsible for acquiring new accounts and increasing sales with assigned accounts within a specified sales territory. Utilize your keen management skills to build relationships with new customers, ensure customers are satisfied, identify new sales opportunities and share your expertise with other team members.
Qualifications: 1. Associates Degree in sales and marketing or equivalent experience 2. Highly personable 3. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. 4. A goal oriented self-starter with a positive attitude and driven to succeed. 5. Organizational and time management skills along with strong follow through and attention to detail. 6. Leadership, motivational skills and analytical thinking expected. 7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other computer skills are essential.
Supervisor: This position reports to the sales manager and their respective store managers.
Physical and Emotional Requirements: 1. Able to be on his or her feet the majority of the day while maintaining a vigorous schedule. 2. Able to handle simultaneous problems effectively while maintaining composure and a proper temperament. 3. Able to lift and handle product at company warehouses and customers’ stores. 4. Local travel to visit customers and occasional overnight travel.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Learn and maintain strong knowledge of aftermarket parts and auto care industry. 2. Make consistent sales calls on existing accounts. 3. Prospect and develop relationships with new customers. 4. Deliver presentations on new lines, promotions, and products features and benefits. 5. Train customers, at all levels, on products and programs. 6. Oversee timely payment by customers. 7. Implement a procedure for returns, cores, and defects 8. Maintain customers inventory 9. Communicate with and assist store managers with any customer relations problems. 10. Support the execution of the sales plan and marketing programs.
Additional Salary Information: Salary includes Base Pay, Commission, and Auto Allowance
