The Aftermarket Catalog Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining Automotive Aftermarket Application Catalog(s) and labelling, published and electronic, to Auto Care Standards as well as requirements of various other leading industry (ACES, PIES, GTIN etc.) standards, customer specific (NAPA, O'Reilly, AutoZone, Advance, CarQuest, etc.), and electronic catalog services (Activant, WHI, JNP, Epicor, Vertical Development, etc.) requirements.
Must maintain and correct the application information, product information and all part specifications within the catalog software, as well as, maintain all part specifications for PIES and Catalogs, and Labeling requirements.
Be able to collaborate with the production management team to add and consolidate parts and applications.
Database management and maintenance of all vehicle part coverage including the evaluation, management, and analysis of OE information and research to identify gaps in coverage.
Maintain competitive and OEM interchanges.
Product image decision and maintenance / updating PIES as required.
Provide timely and accurate ACES and PIES exports to key customers using specific load sheet by customer.
Produce paper catalogs as necessary. Includes typesetting, print and delivery.
E-Catalog Maintenance such as posting most recent e-cat of ACES, AAOS for Epicor, WHI and other publishers.
Coordinate and apply Vehicle Population Data to applications annually and interim updates as required.
Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations.
Research and mapping application carry up coverage (Autocare ACES).
Identify catalog process improvements. Implement changes as necessary.
Key contact with suppliers, agencies, industry associations and customers to support them with technical questions including applications.
Provide all labelling guidelines to meet aftermarket customer requirements. Liaison with IT and plant packaging specialist keeping them up to date on requirements.
Support Product Managers & Sales Managers as required.
Participation in industry networking events including the ACPN in order to promote the Stant aftermarket portfolios through superior catalog data and support.
Education and Experience
B.S. degree in IT/Business Management, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of relative work experience in automotive technology, Automotive WD, Automotive Parts Mfg., Automotive Service Center, Automotive Retailer
Experience with managing large volumes of data and ensuring quality of data. Knowledge of E-catalog Solutions and Automotive Aftermarket Industry
Intensive knowledge of Automobile and its engineering.
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel and Access, ACES and PIES
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledgeable of master data management strategies and best practices.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
Ability to work under pressure, meeting multiple project deadlines is required

Position requires primary office location at Connersville, IN or Rochester Hills, MI
