The Account Manager is a key member of the team that is committed to providing exceptional customer support and consultation to our network of digital advertisers and is an extremely important part of the company’s overall business mix. Knowledge and experience with marketing in the digital space is essential for giving you the vision to see the bigger issues for our customers and creates an opportunity to demonstrate how we can partner with them to help better manage their advertising.
The right candidate will be a self-starter with great communication skills and will be highly motivated, ambitious, energetic and hungry to grow the ClassicCars.com brand. The successful applicant must be confident on the phone with a naturally outgoing, upbeat personality. Being relationship savvy is an immensely important part of this position. You must be able to read people and connect meaningfully with a variety of personalities and understand that progress is made through relationships. You should be able to respectfully challenge and direct the customer in the customer’s best interest and have a degree of comfort with tension, in order to help our customers find greater success in using our service to advertise their business.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide exceptional customer support and consultation to our digital advertising customers via phone and e-mail leading to strong and lasting relationships that foster greater customer retention and growth
Proactively manage advertising packages to ensure an overall great experience with ClassicCars.com
Skillfully communicate to clients the value of advertising on ClassicCars.com to show ROI
Identify upsell opportunities by being an expert on all products and services offered by ClassiCars.com
Actively communicate with the ClassicCars.com finance team to collect and resolve all outstanding payments and advertising fees
Represent ClassicCars.com and act as a positive member of our vibrant and growing company
Qualifications and Skills
Two years of proven digital account management or other relevant experience preferred
Proactive work style with a ‘no excuses’ mindset and focused on getting results for customers
Ability to communicate, present ideas and influence credibly and effectively
Strong computer skills with a high degree of attention to detail in all related activities
Able to create oral and written communication that is concise, clear and convincing
Ability to receive and implement feedback immediately
Previous CRM experience is a must and prior SalesForce experience would be preferred
Solid ability to handle tough conversations with clients in a professional, solution-oriented manner
A passion and deep understanding of customer service and business growth
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to track numerous details
Ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-growing environment
