The Business Development Manager is a critical player in the solicitation and development of nationwide accounts. This position is responsible for achieving channel objectives, KPI’s and target sales. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for developing new customer business that achieves short and long-term profitable growth.

Identify sales opportunities, networking and fact-finding and calling on and closing new accounts.
Prepare and deliver effective selling presentations that implement approved Customer Business Plans and employ effective game theory and negotiating strategies.
Develop timely and accurate forecasts (volume and spend) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree required preference in Business Administration
Minimum of 5 years field sales and account management experience.
All around general automotive knowledge with emphasis on high performance or the after-market industry
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
Adequate mathematical and language skills to function in the work environment
Understanding of retail/wholesale business with experience preferred
REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL, PROBLEM-SOLVING OR OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, outside the box thinker, sense of humility, flexible, adaptable to changing conditions, and be an excellent team player.
Normal office setting with no unusual environmental conditions. Typically, the noise level in this work environment is moderate and the facility is smoke free.
