To achieve RWB sales growth objectives by providing quality customer service, promoting the Company’s product lines through direct interaction with customers. With revenue generation and market dominance as the primary sales goal, direct interaction with customers, influencing and assisting them by using technical and industry knowledge to provide RWB products that meets their needs. Input and participation in the technical development of products is expected. Works closely with other Sales Team members to service all current/potential customer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
Receive customer calls and provide product specifications, technical information, pricing and delivery to achieve sales and revenue goals.
Establishes and maintains industry contacts that lead to sales opportunity and revenue generation.
Establishes and sets up new accounts per Sales Manager’s guidelines.
Follow-up on sales leads and make cold calls to potential customers.
Researches and develops potential customers.
Writes up customer orders on designated Company order forms.
Provides problem resolution and troubleshooting expertise to customers. Taking responsibility for and make every effort to meet customer’s needs and resolve their product problems.
Writes customer correspondences.
Researches and completes descriptive customer RMA’s within 5-working days.
Returns messages, e-mails and voice mails in a timely manner.
Attends race events and shows as determined by Sales & Marketing Manager.
Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target market.
Promotes new, innovative products to existing customers.
Works closely and effectively with Engineering/ R&D, Operations and Sales staff to identify future customer needs.
Determines and communicates customer satisfaction to Marketing Director.
Communicates openly, honestly and constructively using TQ (total quality) practices.
Other duties may be assigned.
AA degree from a two year technical school preferred or a combination of experience and education
Experience in either Power Sports or Sports compact segments required
1 year of sales experience
Demonstrated working knowledge of internal combustion engine and its components and an understanding of targeted market segments highly desirable
