This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of potential new AutoZone stores, conduct spatial analysis and modeling, perform analog and competitive analysis, and present and defend findings to a variety of audiences. Additionally, will have the ability to mine data from a variety of sources, and convert into useful and actionable information.
Develops trade areas and market strategies
Manage portfolio of trade areas and sales projections
Review and present sites for approval to the executive committee
Provide ad hoc analysis for cross functional teams and strategic initiatives, and conduct field analysis in the market using GIS mapping
Mines and converts data into useful information
Travels to markets to conduct / lead field research
Updates and improves processes and applications
Bachelor’s Degree required
2-3 years of experience in GIS mapping
2-3 years of analysis
Experience with ESRI mapping software, Map Info, or Alteryx preferred
Proficient with MS Office products
Excellent communication & skills (verbal and written)
